I'm thinking, stock body, with period wheels, wood panel body decals if you like, & with a sturdy, reliable & economical L18 or L20B. Even an auto trans would not be out of place.
That would make a cool, smooth, low cost & very reliable ride.
Well, that's my two bobs worth.

It's ready for a convertible top, so I'd say go flash with it. Gotta love those Datsun 620s!

The wagon was hard to see with that Datsun beside it. What kind of wagon is it?

 Re: future project
i reckon this sorta car deserves to be restored to stock condition with white paint lowered, hubcaps, but with a quick injected turbo motor with tiny exhaust......

 Re: future project
its a 64 bluebird wagon
with the mighty j1200 motor

i will keep it its origonal colour with i nice set of rims probebly 16s or 17s with low profile white walls, and yes an injected motor of some kind or maby even a rotor

will keep the bench seats but add some mod cons to the int such as power windows keyles entry and maby air conditioning. Seing these things are posative earth a set of auto meter gauges

I am thinking keep it as a stocker , but the woody trim with board racks would look super cool.
