I saw this 1200 ute while going on a cruise here in Tassie.
I just love the home made cabin extension and the roll bars.

Those wheels look kinda big too [in diameter] Was it registered?

Its different.

They look like 14 inch bluebird wheels.

I gotta admit, that is very interesting. I like it, though it reduces the open cargo area.

Would you call that a "tassie stretch" limo design? Here in Seattle we stretch 'em 12 feet ...

with a ramp out the back you could hide a datto HA HA...in the H2 of course

all this talk of a datto 1200 ute/panelvan has made me think if i dont sell the ute shell might actually look into making it a panelvan...what u all think!??

btw just got our little 22mth old son to say Datto!! quite cool!!!

Yes those wheels are definately not 12 or 13inches.
I am not sure if it was registered, it was a bit of a wreck though.

it would have to have the hatch follow the roll bars to look like a cherry. I may know the owner or pervious owner of this car. Vonster a tassie datsun owners member. if Its the one I think it is it has had a bit of a history as a rally car. Hence the roll bar. I think it was owned by Lynn Rattray or some one like that.
