Two ways to use Zip Ties. I have both problems, and am eager to try the seat belt method. I'm not sure I'll use the mirror method though ...

I keep a bag of 'em in the 'ol glove box ,but never used 'em in that sense.

might as well connect your tailshaft with them, or cabletie ur crank in .....

The most fun you can have with a zip-tie........

Get a decent sized zip tie.
Crawl under the car of one of your mates (who can handle a joke).
Tie said zip tie to the tailshaft.
Leave the end hanging so it will slap on the exhaust pipe.
Laugh hilariously at your mate as he tries to figure what the bl**dy hell is making all that racket.
