TYP is no longer running - it has no engine or gearbox...

it took alot longer to disect as I was being extremely cautious of it's heavily rusted subframe because when I put the chassis stand in the correct place, behind the front wheel, the chassis stand punched a hole right through it! so it did NOT have the jack properly removed from it!

that was why I took the engine and 56A out seperately - I also needed to change the clutch... as i had burnouts done in it

nah, I need some of it's parts

and if I cut off just the roof it WOULD collapse

the subframe is rusted out in the correct "strategical" place for it to "fold in half" - that is about 4" behind the steering box! and idler arm mounts!

Did you find it submerged in a swamp?

nope the previous owner lives near a salt flat and so he drove it through it

what pissed me off BIGTIME is that there was actually TWO square light sunnys - this was the worst of he two!

the other one could have almost had 2 new mudguards and bumpers and be roadworthy again!

or been strong enough for an stanza/L16 conversion!

but someone else bought it for their kids!

EDIT: I have managed to aquire that other Sunny!

hopefully I will pick it up tuesday or thursday!

it turns out it's new owner only wanted it for it's starter motor - if I remove the starter motor, and give it to the new owner, the rest is mine!

of course I have truckloads of spares!

6X A12's

it's a LOT much better than "The Yellow Peril but it doesn't run

on a side note I knew "The Yellow peril" before it's previous life as a road regoed car owner...it was BRIGHT yellow (paint code 208) it got the crap out thrashed of it. The clutch slips badly!, but for a thrashed pile of crap, it runs like clockwork! And when the clutch doesn't slip she is quite quick (and scary) but she will be retired as she has TERMINAL subframe rust...

hopefully the other sunny is strong (and good) enough to put an A15 in!

dude you should take off all the panels, cut the rear quarters off, the roof off etc and see what it wieghs... then try and snap it in half!
