it is all in but now i have to find a newer model ute cross member as the extractors wont fit because they are hitting on the engine mounts ahhh it never ends!!!!

i had a similar problem with extractors fouling on hte engine mount .... mine's an early model, i took lightly to mine with an angle grinder and releaved it of a little excess steel, if it only fouls by a bit this could do it as the engine mounts are bolted hard to the block, as are the extractors to the head, so once there is enough clearance all the bits wil move at the same time and shouldn't hit

unfortunatly they fowl by a lot the engine mounts from my old a14 where about 4 inches higher than the ones on my new a15
so there is no getting away with it the crossmember has to be changed

Yeh thats wots happening to mine but i solve it by making a whole new mount that bolts to the origional X-member. its pretty east and you dont need to hack at ur origional.
