 Re: 1200 flairs
Bear in mind these were only taped on to this sedan for demo purposes. Also I think they will require some mods for the back doors. Otherwise they are a great flare on 1200's.

 Re: 1200 flairs
How much will have to be taken off for the rear doors? any full side on pics to show how the doors will clear them? I might just weld the rear doors shut then it wouldn't be a hassle! haha

 Re: 1200 flairs
I might have a side on pic at home. the flare could easily be cut to open with the door. the hard part is what to cut away behind the flare in the door opening/wheelarch area. Its definitely do-able, but more involved than doing it on a coupe/ute.

welding the doors would make life easier!

To flare or not to flare? that is the question.
If I did flare and didn't like it, it would be a awful mess underneath. would really appreciate the side pic. Cheers

yep, there's no going back, but I think the sedan would look really fat with these flares and the bobtail. I'll have a look for the other pics tonight

 Re: 1200 flairs
could just tape them on like in the pic and see if you like them

you'd just have to sit the guard on the tyre at the back

 Re: 1200 flairs

I was just messing around taping the flares off my coupe on a mate's sedan for these pics. Because it was a bit high in the back I taped the rear flare on a fair bit lower than it otherwise would be to make the car look lower.

try and find some of the photos of that orange 2dr sedan racecar from Portugal too. That thing looks hot with its flares!

 Re: 1200 flairs
they certainly look like the same ones as on my old coupe, originally made by Steve Draheim. Jeff is obviously making/selling the flares for him now.

I've got some pics of fitting the flares on my car. I think I posted some up here. I'll go see if I can find them

 Re: 1200 flairs
front gaurd cut

floorpan/footwell mods to clear the 7" wide, neg offset wheels I used. I didn't get a 'before' shot, so the rusty standard one on the left is the sedan I had at the time waiting for its rust repairs.

there's more photos, but looks like I uploaded them as .JPG which didn't work. I'll find the original pics and post them properly this time.

I've got pics that show how much i cut out of the back of the flare itself too, and other detail shots. don't have too many of the rear flare fitting, but I'll post what I've got
