Its personal preference really in terms of looks. Personally i dont think it looks really any better but id love to have one because of the rareness. Plus it separates your car from the pack. Hell, id love one.

Nice score. I kinda like the look of these as the lines seem to compliment the overall style of the car without dominating it.
It sort of suggests 'power bulge' without being obvious or in-your-face about it.

Style, suggestion of muscle, & rarity, that works for me, & what you paid for it is your business, so paint it, fit it, & enjoy,... your an individual.

it has a little bit of rusty on the strip underneath that runs across front, but other than that its in pretty good shape.
it has been stashed away for years.

i like the look of the gx bonnet too... but
honestly would prefer an original in the car's
colour than a black gx bonnet... unless the car was black of course..

i think they are cool but only for the fact that they are a rare datsun factory upgrade sort of item. fibreglass ones, although still cool don't have that same appeal.

Sounds like you got it for a resonable price when you compare what others have payed for the same thing to be individuals.
If you like it Pepper, you should use it and make your car the way you yourself like.

yeh well i drive a bright lime green sedan i. know there is a lot of people that woud not like the colour but i am the one that drives it its my choice. it would be boring if we all thaught the same. i dont think the gx bonnet (hood) looks bad but unless i owned an origonal GX i dont think they are worth what some people pay for them but then i think the same about big doff doff sterios
