1969 Datsun 1000 B10 D 2020/4/27 14:13 Tell a friend 6159 4 0.00 (0 votes)
Description: After owning a fastback coupe and finding out they weigh 15 kg less than a 1200 2 door sedan (675) I wasnt happy so I luckily found a 1000 standard 2 door sedan as used in racing with no radio, heater and passenger sun visor with 26,000 orig miles and stored for 23 years in a farm shed i snapped it up for AU$300 only to stupidly sell it to a good friend who loved the factory 625kg and fitted a suzuki g16b 16v baleno all alloy engine with sierra 5 speed. I found this one (98,000 miles) near Mt beauty and it had so much dried mud that it must have been 2 tonnes! Now with its cut down bumpers (almost cost my fingers!) and body lightening througout, its my mini and gemini eater (with tweaked a10!) and still more to go to become a regular rex chomper. Considered a 10a extend port rotary but now have the a15 webers extractors to go back in after I find some oversized pistons and cam etc.

Re: 1969 Datsun 1000 B10 Lobster discovered a while back that the file extension (.jpg) needs to be lowercase
sounds like a cool little car - can't wait to see it! love the 1000's - all the 2 door models (coupe, 2dr sedan, and wagon) look great I reckon
