I was under the impression that it isn't a good idea to run petrol through a teflon tipped blower. The petrol affects the coating which varies the clearences which results in no boost.
Teflon is a material that is affected by very few substances, I have never heard of the petrol theory before. The tips will be strips of teflon fitted to machines grooves in the rotors won't they. I have done a couple of GM671s like that. I wasn't aware that the blower housings were coated, is it like non stick frypans?
