LAG i think you would agree that it needs the SR treatment... but then its such a nice example, so A15 worked of its head? something similar to b120dat's engine. paint looks great

haha, sr treatment... it wouldn't fit! i'm looking into putting my CA18det out of the old LAGWAGON into it. just weighing up whether its possible. if yes, rear end will be mini tubbed following phunkdoctaspok's example and guidance and an r31 diff cut down and fitted. the 13's and hubcaps will remain. fitting a CA runs into height problems in the 1000 engine bay but i'm trying to combat that at the moment, trying to get a 1000 sedan wreck to "practice" on... for now though its my daily. i would like to run 11's tho, maybe 10's

 Re: after a little polish
It's such a nice little example of a 1000, it would be a shame to modify it in such a way that it could not be easily brought back to standard later down the track.

I reckon you should keep it stock.

hmm, check into the height of a ga16de. it may be lower height than a ca18de and weigh less as well

thanks! my mind is ticking over with thoughts on what to do with it... needs a couple of touch ups on the body and a bit more power.
