OK a Little bit more on the car... it's a 1400 pickup, has the A15 motor with stock crank and stock head.
A set of Langley pistons is doing the boinging... 20th Over.
It's running the stock 4spd GBox. and the std diff. rear tires are 175\70\14 Dunlop's, IE. ell cheapos. :)
I have a custom made Fuel injection system on the inlet side, running 4 injectors from a 4AGE Toyota twincam motor, fuel pressure regulated a 2.9bar.
computer is a Gotech std, Mapping is done by myself as well, no dyno required... :)
The turbo is from a Vito van. Garrett t2 ish in size...... ex AR= 0.43 in AR= 0.45
boosting 1bar on pump gas ( 95oct) with very conservative timing, for obvious reasons.
I managed a 15.2 at 154kph at a local drag meet on the 30th Jul 06. and am very pleased with it, not only that it was my virgin breaker on the official drag scene, but that I managed that with the above said rubber.
what do you guys in the know, think.... should I rather go stick it in the sand and hope nobody here can read.... or do I have a future in drags..... :D
