Re: 1200 Ute Rotary?

i think that u may find a 13b turbo extremely hard to engineer and register. even a 13b will be hard enough.

i am a fan of the rotary engines, but they have their place, and its not under a datsun bonnet.

anyway if you really want a rotary i would start with a 12a non turbo, get some mounts made up and a radiator to suit put in, cut tunnel to fit a gearbox (most likely) build a fuel system (depending on if your're goin injection or carby as to how much work is in that) and make some engine mounts etc etc.

after all that try get it engineered and a RWC. then and only then, would i ask my engineer about a turbo. and if a turbo isn't an option then start building a nice periph-port or bridge-port or something similar, that will keep you on a one block radius of a fuel station.

yes maybe your right, i think i was thinking out LOUD....
Well this is what im looking for blokes like your self that have been there done it, most of you have,
how about CA18DET any good with the 1200 ute's
