HEAPS, i got it up and running again tonight and it tonks!!
but i need to do head gasket, she leaves a good trail of smoke and bubbles through the radiator a fair bit
it was a lot of mucking around with 4 of us working on it but finally got it good with a bit of hole elongation and other dodgey stuff
it seems to want to make more and more boost (gets to about 10psi) and at about 5500 revs it just cuts out like the fuel is not getting through anymore so im going to have to figure out how to turn the turbos down and see if that helps, fuel pressure is 14psi, and supposedly my bov is 7psi but i make upto 10psi, i dont understand how that works
