C'mon Ziggy harden up mate.
As Dattodude said hold one FBH horizontal and stationary against the steering arm next to the nut and use another hammer to hit the arm on the opposite side. Mostly people are not successful as the hammer blow is not square to the stud axis and the energy is lost. In 35 years I've not seen one that will not come out if done correctly. Stubborn maybe but they all come loose. Hope this helps.
BTW guys heating forged steering components is a VERY large no-no.
