very general rule of thumb, look for carbs off a bike whose engine has similar power output to what you are chasing (or slightly less). So if it's a stock a15 (for example) maybe look for a bike with 60bhp or so. For a very serious a15, you'd want carbs from a bike engine making 150bhp or more depending on just how closet to full race the combination is.
