Yeah, just about all the A series' datsuns got a cable clutch in Australia (there may be some excepetions). In my opinion they don't have a nice 'feel' like hydrualic does. They do the
job though.

This is a bit confusing? Just about every Datsun ever sold in the USA (including the 1200) has a hydraulic clutch. What on earth did they give you guys down under? Cable? Z-bar? To
answer the question, a hydraulic clutch would be a piece of cake if you got a few choice parts from a hydraulic (USA?) 1200.
