easiest way to get rid of the carb is to get a throttle body injector setup.
I think that any tbi or mpfi that uses a modern ( non flap ) air flow meter will work just fine ( ga16i / ga16de )
parts to adapt from an existing system shouldn't be that expensive.
If I just had an intake manifold I'd have mpfi in a moment.
