So is there an easy way of looking at the firewall to see if it has rusted.
The car is in my garage with the front half of the interior stripped, not including he dash. I have taken the dash out before and that is easy, so if i pull that out will i get a good
look at the firewall?
I have noticed rust at a join under the dash, the seal was leaking so i prodded it with a screwdriver and it started falling off as there is rust underneath. i re-sealed it with REO-FILL
(fibreglass reinforced filler) then added some normal seal around that. i dont know whether that worked or not. i have another car to drive luckily so i can keep the coupe off the road
if nescasary, i want to fix this problem properly!
