Yes this is corrct. The A12a was first introduced in late 79. It has the same deck height as the A12 and slightly larger bore at 75mm or 2.953". Only 1mm smaller than A14/15's but 2mm larger than the A12/13.
Midget, what makes you say the A12a has a cast crank? I thought ALL A series cranks were forged?
