I think if you get the #1 cylinder at top dead center you can adjust valves 1,2,3 and 5. With #4 cylinder at top dead center you can adjust 4,6,7 and 8. Come to think of it, it takes two rotations to do it this way as well. Oh well, what ever is easier for you.
