The camshaft in the photo is a Datsun 1200 GX cam & it will fit in your "Datsun-1200" car engine. It has a "sportier" cam timing profile than the standard 1200 one.

If you use a Datsun 1200 cylinder head, flat top pistons for more compression, a GX twin carb induction system & a GX exhaust manifold, then you will get standard GX power output, but the cam alone will not do much for an otherwise standard engine.

The standard cam has an advertised duration of 248 degrees while thr GX cam has an advertised duration of 256 degrees.

If you have a non "Datsun-1200" version of the A12, then forget it. This cam will work in a Datsun 1000 engine too.

The seller will ship overseas, & this is clearly writen all over the page, so i don't know where you get the US only idea.
