Well azza,
It sounds like you've got the head set up to run
a fairly agressive cam without too much trouble.
A reground stock cam is the least expensive way to
gain power and torque but the stock billet limits what can be done . I had a stock unit reground for
my A 14 and didn't get as much as I had hoped but
my springs are limiting the upper end ,yours shouldn't do that . The problem with a stock billit is that it limits the lift, duration
and the lobe
centers and slopes are not really changable because of the original casting . Mine cost me $50
US dollars and I am planning on replacing it too. I would check out the internet search engines for
local shops around Melbourn as I bet there are quite a few in the area that sell a cam that will
give what you are looking for. Otherwise check out
Paeco and malvern racing (both on the net)in the US they have cams and lots of other hipo stuff for
the A engines .
Good luck Steve
