I can tell you what doesn't work now that the darn thing burnt out...
GA16DE/QG18DE starter motors from N14/15/16 Pulsars need modification to fit (relief of some external ribbing and drilling out threaded bolt hole to match the M10 shank). Thought I could get away with it for $70 but after countless cranking both with and without compression it's dying and getting too hot to crank.
