There are a heap of little extras that all add up (may not need all but should budget for them).

Oil pump, water pump, machining and balance, Head work (Cam followers, valve stems, springs, cams), welsh plugs, timing tensioners, thermostat, spark plugs, oil, oil filter, rubber hose to replace perished ones, Radiator flush, coolent. Then there is the turbo, ECU, boost controller, ignitors, Fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors, pressure regulator and finally the tune. +++ im sure.

I think my engine owes me around $7k including a new ECU. She is making 199rwHP on 7psi (rev limited to 6500rpm for runin period 1400km on the clock now). May not sound that impressive.......yet :).
