A-series are very comfortable are running at 4000 RPM for sustained periods of time. I drove my A12 powered sedan to datnats 07 [Philip Island Victoria] from sydney. It was travelling at 4250 RPM for hours and hours. Good oil, spark and cooling and the A-series will never let you down.
