My car is in the nifty fifty club; and is essentially well maintained stock, with the exception of headers, a little port matching/deburring, 32/36 Webber and Jacobson ignition. Actual cc=1407.
I have driven coast-to-coast more then 4x's with 350-400lbs of gear and averaged 39-45mpg on the freeway if I stayed under 75mph.I easily break 50mpg on my monthly 478 mile trip to see my kids. I have been too impatient to see what type of mileage I would get at 55mph.
