i jacked up the ute at the rear and spun the right wheel by hand, the left wheel spun in the opposite direction? when accelerating however, both wheels spun at the same time in the same direction. does this mean the diff has been locked? or LSD? it feels they both spin when giving it some.
also the engine cuts out sometimes whilst driving >no response, yet revs up and down when i change gears as its just rolling> the mechanic found no fault, but after burning out today, this seems to happen.. could the differential be slipping somehow, causing this problem? is it because its modified or cheaply welded even??
any thoughts... cheers
