To answer the question on the body work, we (wife and I) looked at a few welding machines yeserday. We plan to pick one up and practice on a few small projects and then tackle the car. On a side note, we have the equipment to paint it and this we have done with other cars (no practice needed). To make a long story short we plan to do all the work (exterior - interior -mechanical - upgrades) ourselves. I do have some welding experience and yes my wife supports me in my foolish and probably expensive endeavor - oh but what fun it is!
