Gday, I've read about two interesting engine developments on www.autospeed.com , one was an engine with variable compression ratio, which it achieved by having a head which tilted on
the block somehow. The other was an valveless engine which had virtually unlimited 'lift and duration' i think it was an audi.
Autospeed has alot of interesting technical articles about new developments and technology, I'm a subscriber and I can highly recommend it.
