There are a few really good reasons why I have gone to 15" wheels/tires on the 1200: 1. Wide/low profile/hi performance tires are WAY cheaper than any 14" low profile tire. I paid $50 per tire for V speed rated 195/50-15's and $70 for 195/45's for the front. 2. 15" tires are far more common than 14" especially if you have a blowout in the middle of nowhere. There's probably only a couple places that make the right size 14" low profile tires that would work on a lowered 1200 without flares. 3. With 15" wheels I had a much wider variety of brands/styles/sizes to choose from. I paid $90 per wheel brand new for mine 4. My 15" rims look and fit absolutely perfect on my lowered coupe. I'd upload a pic, but don't have one in digital format yet. Everyone that's seen my car likes the way the 15's look. -Andy
