Most Aussie A15 engines are out of Japanese commercial vans - they're still being made new in Japan, as well as being used in countries like South Africa (mainly A14's there). The 5 speed boxes are a much rarer beastie, and there are a few models which recieved them - mainly Japanese only sporty Sunny/110/210 type cars. In Aussieland the only car I can think of off the top of my head that had this gearbox was the Sunny wagon. Hence the high price for these things - often people ask $700- $1000 for them second hand. I've got an A15 and 5 speed in my 1200 ute. As far as I know there are 3 different A series 5 speeds - there's a dogleg box (like the stanza "rally" box), a close ratio and an overdrive box.
