Sure it was underpowered but there are a LOT of other s##tboxes that should have come in well ahead.
Just a few
Honda Scamp - the 600cc motor was an UPGRADE
Original Mazda 121
and anything with LUCAS electrics was behind the eight ball before it got out of the showroom
