The 'D' Centerpiece/centrecap comes off, there is a very small slit in the side where it meets the rest of the garnish, slip a small flat screwdriver in there and pop off the centre cap. Then I think you press and rotate the wing emblem and then unscrew the nut to remove the wheel.
Use a block of soft timber and a hammer and tap the back of the steering wheel (only once the nut has been unscrewed, but keep it on the end of the thread so that the wheel doesn;t come off and smack you in the face as you're trying to pull it off ) to gently remove the wheel off the column. Be careful with it, and be sure that it doesn't damage the plastic on the back of the wheel.
I think that's the procedure, pop the cap off anyway and lets have a look.... my memory is vague..
