same as fiting an L series, block and gearbox and pretty much the same. they lean the oposite way to L series to accomodate the inlet manifold.
NA, carby, form you are probably better going an L series as there are more parts available and most Zs are as old as L20b and such anyway

efi or turbo form you are probably better off going CA as the injection and turbo stuff is alot easier to get
CAs as also smaller and easier to fit in than both Z and L

not much point thinking and E series if you are doing the conversion to get a 5 speed as you are no better off then the A series

in my opinion the best option would be to find a running CA, one that you can actually see running not one that was "running" before it was pulled out for an SR conversion.

oh and for any of those engines i would count on tunnel work unless its auto, as all the gearboxes are about the same size
