A better option is to keep the standard diff ration and get an overdrive 5 speed if you can get one, but they're usually too expensive. The 1200 ute diff is shorter than a standard
1200/120Y diff - you can use these but if the motor is worked then you'll probably break the diff.
I think the bluebird and 200SX diffs (both disc brake and drum) are significantly wider than the 1200 one, but I dunno. Everyone I know who's bought one to fit has given up on it
in disgust.
The diff centres should fit though, and so should swapping the drums for bigger rear brakes.
