Re: 1200 brakes

I am in the same process at the moment. I have got stanza (american equivalent??) struts and steering arm, late model 120Y (B210) control arms and radius rod. This setup with the Girlock
calipers and a 120Y (B210) booster will be the easiest and pull up pretty well. You will need to get a shorter spring and get the bump stop shortened.
The setup I am using is a Toyota Tarago 10" twin vented discs and hubs instead of the stanza discs. However the hub is quite wide and the wheels are set out heaps. The calipers used are HJ65
4 spots. According to the repco manual late model hilux calipers are the same size. Next the discs will have to be spaced off the hubs. Make sure to do this well because it is a high stress
part and it needs almost 25mm of spacing. I am yet to look to see if some other hubs off a datsun will bolt up to the tarago discs, save making the spacer.

As for the rear, I have heard a sigma diff and axles will fit. This gives you rear discs, but an open centre diff. I am leaving my rear drumo's on because being a ute there is not much
weight back there anyway.

It really depends on how fast you intend going, and how well you need to stop.
hope this helps
