yes, I've used a T25 on an standard A12 with a CD Stromberg in front of it. It made make enough boost at 60kph in 4th to go hold gear up the steepest hill around. Was a good driveable combo that still made very respectable power at only 8psi. Went about as well as my 116rwbhp L18 at the time.
I wouldn't be shy about using the ball bearing disco potato on an A15 either.
