Still one question about the alloy diff ... would it work in a 1200?
* the coupling would probably need a spool to enable full-time RWD use
* maybe. It's about the same length as a long-pinion R180, so it would need a shortened tailshaft
The 2.66 gear ratio used by X-Trial, Rogue, Primera, etc. is very low, and would make for excellent fuel economy with a high-torque motor like SR20DE (the Murano and Rogue come with SR20DE and R145). Or use the 3.4 from Prairie or Wingroad smooth-case version. For an A12 the 3.7 option? from a Presage would be a great all-rounder
