Re: Retractable seat belt for coupe suggestion?

installed mine today, found a kit at rare spares which was handy, came with three plates with nuts to suit welded on. used one plate for each side.

I took the rear interior trim off and drilled a hole in lower inner panel, mounted inertia pack so that it sits inside the interior trim, and the rare spares plate sits just under the trim (hidden by the rear seat)

i then threaded the belt through the hole where the ash tray normally is and replaced the top mount with the connection that comes with the retractable belt, and also replaced the floor mount and the "plug"

job done pretty much,

was a fair bit of mucking around including taking out front passenger seat to make access easy, but they are sooooo much better than the original bolts,

didnt really check time but around 3-4hrs including stopping for lunch from go to wo

was 150 for two belts plus 25 for 1 kit from rare spares
