The ideas you talked about are pretty outside the box!!!
Casting really interests me and I do some reverse engineering in my job but it isn't car related. I am basically trying to recreate (if it was ever made) the AZ12 head. My initial goal is to get an accurate 3D model with all the components.
I will look into rapid prototyping or something of the sort and at what other technologies are availiable.
I'm basically doing this for a challenge and to go through the engineering process.
Are there many Perth members on 1200.com?
