It is a relatively easy swap BUT there is no bolt in option for an l-series into a 1200, so if you cant fab your own parts or get someones old set up forget it.
things you will need to do:
1:modify the x member with mounts, you can weld stanza ones on or make new ones. may also need to scollop the x member i didn't need to but the l18 is shorter.
2:forward facing sump and pickup (stanza i think)
3:gearbox x member. you can make one or use one from maddat ca18 fitting kit.
4:clutch master cylinder.
5:throttle cable
6:gearbox túnel. you may or may not need to modify it, mine has just been massaged around the fire wall with a r30 box.
7:drive shaft will need to be shortened.
so its no harder than any other custom instal but defiantly not bolt in
