my rough calcs say about 100kw/135bhp at the wheels max from 38mm chokes. 145main jets match that expectation as well. As does punching your mph (95) and the weight of my old L20 1200 (850kg/1870lb) into a calculator.
That's a very healthy L series. It takes a VERY good cylinder head to make more than that, and the MOST you can reasonably expect while running 45mm carbs is 155bhp. The amount of $$ outlayed for that next 20bhp would be pretty scary I think. Unless you've got lots to spend, I say just enjoy it the way it is - it's got very good grunt and will be alot of fun!
