The crankcase ventilation, if connected to full vacuum, would either suck a vacuum into the crankcase (bad) or create that much flow through the oil filler cap it would run like a pig (bad), or many other scenarios (all bad). I suspect neither of these ports are full vacuum.
I cant put pictures on here as I am not that savvy, but google positive crankcase ventilation.
