These are mostly vacuum taps (ports). Carbureted late Datsuns have all the same ones. They are for Brake Booster, EGR, Distributor Vacuum Advance, etc.

As with any gasoline engine, none of them are required. All you need is to plug the ports and remove all the hoses and hard lines. If you want vacuum advance, run a hose directly from the port to the distributor. No need to use the hard line assembly that is on there now. The Vacuum Advance port as usual is the one just under the throttle blade.
