Hello everybody! The last project failed as I ran out of time and money, and had to sell it. I paused my Dat plans for some years, but as I got hold of a parts car for free recently, the interest has re-sparked.
I'm currently the lucky owner of a 1985 C120 Vanette, A15 powered, with 80-82 hp. Complete with rear axle, which I believe is an H165? (The A15 powered Vanette didn't come with the H190?)
I know of a B210 / 120Y from late 1974 which probably has the 56A gearbox, which I believe is strong enough to ride around town stock with - without performance upgrading the engine. The stock diff from the B210 (H145??) will probably not hold, so can the '85 C120 Vanette diff be swapped into the B210 / 120Y and keeping the 56A box?
I have the A15 powered Vanette in its entirety, but it's very rusty, so it's about to be scrapped. But I'd like to know if I can use its engine and drivetrain in a B210 / 120Y from late '74? :)
