If you want a kit that will rev to 6800 RPM and pull hard, try a Datsun points distributor. Any distributor that's not broken will do that
Several of us here have used a 36-1 crank trigger. The trigger wheels can be bolted to the existing Datsun crank pully (no drilling or welding needed). About $300 for Coil Pack & Wires, Controller, Trigger wheel & Trigger. No programming needed, but to get the most power out of it youll want to customize the spark curve
