My MR-S has a steering wheel shifts, its a hoot but the setup is very complicated if something goes wrong. There are hydraulic pumps, solenoids, ecu and hoses that run this system and motorbikes are mechanically operated which is infinitely better simpler etc.
Years ago I wondered if one could use the strong drag harley davidson aftermarket boxes onto an A series they are cheap and stronger than some japanese boxes

torque rating is the key element and 2.3L would have more torque than any A series.
