D the Rotax is a snowmobile engine. 600cc bikes engines are legal for the class (they use an inlet restrictor) but for autocross the CVT trans is the way to go. I contemplated the bike engine but the guy who built the car said stick with CVT. He's a retired Ford engineer that worked on things like the original GT-40 and has several National Championships under his built as a builder and crew member. He's won in both road racing and autocross.
