Vortec 2200 with T5 -- T5 is not that big. Plus the S10 has the shorty extension housing shorter than the Datsun transmission
According to the Weber book, it looks like more like 600cc at 10,000 rpm needs the same carb size as 1500cc at 5,000 RPM -- for like engines. Japanese motorcycle heads flow a lot more than A-series heads, so even smaller would be better for balancing power/flexibility
Datsun used a single 32mm bike carb on the Sunny Cab 998cc (A10) @ 5000 rpm. Datsun used 38mm CV carb on A12 @ 6400 rpm (83bhp)
