There's a reason that there is a Briggs & Stratton decal on the rocker cover of my Volvo. 
Volvo Penta engines, like The-Little-Engine-That-Could Datsun A12, are renowned for their simplicity and durability.
No worries about yours truly abandoning the 1200 camp, Tom! The Volvo is a placeholder only until my 1200 gets out of the paint shop in a couple of weeks.
